yes yes yes you can use this recipe for the rice diet as well. Glad to report 1 more pound lost, so 4 in 3 days. I was craving a little more last night so I came up with this version of a Mexican Bowl, mixed with yummy shrimp and topped with avocado, now doesn’t that sound just delicious? Plus Plus, everyone ate it last night, they don’t even know they are on a diet with me. I am so sneaky.
- 1/2 cup resistant starch brown rice
- 1/2 cup already cooked black beans
- 1 slice sauteed white onion diced
- 1/2 cup steamed broccoli
- 1/2 cup steamed cauliflower
- 1/2 diced tomato
- 5 cooked shrimp
- 1/2 avacodo
- mrs dash no salt seasoning
1/2 tsp olive oil to saute white onion, when soft pour into rice and black beans, stir and heat in microwave for 1 minute. using same pan to cook onion place shrimp in season with garlic and juice of a lime and cook till pink. combine vegetables into heated rice/beans, add as much seasoning as you like. Top with shrimp and sliced avacodo, squeeze a little more lemon over and enjoy!
