Vodka drinks in honor of summer coming to an end especially for all you moms, lol. Soooo I am a vodka drinker and wine of course, red wine, but vodka is my drink of choice and since it is still so very hot out there here in the west and school is about to start if hasn’t already, lots of stressful folks out there I am sure and a nice cold libation I think is in order. So I did some digging and found some great recipes to share with you all. Nooo I haven’t tried them all. Do you think I could be writing this? So get out there and try whichever one sounds the best to you and kick back, put your feet up and enjoy the last few days of summer before the crazy school year begins.
Smirnoff really ruby
- 1.5 oz Smirnoff® Ruby Red Grapefruit
- 1.5 oz Ruby Red Grapefruit juice
- 1.5 oz Tonic water
- Grapefruit half-wheel
build in glass and garnish
Blue Ginger
- 1.5 oz Smirnoff® Sours Berry Lemon
- 4 oz ginger ale
- Serves 1
build in glass over ice
Peach and iced tea
- 1.5 oz SMIRNOFF® Peach
- 4 oz of Iced Tea
pour over ice
Raspberry and lemonade
- 1.5 oz of SMIRNOFF® Raspberry
- 4 oz of Lemonade
stir with lots of ice
Moscow Mule
- 1.5 oz SMIRNOFF® No. 21 Vodka
- 4 oz Ginger Beer
- Fresh Lime
So a couple of my favorites are pretty basic and try and make them as low calorie as possible.
Vodka cranberry
I mix with vodka, low calorie cranberry juice and water. I don’t like a full cranberry but love to dilute it.
vodka lemon green tea
Also have you tried the lemon flavored diet green tea mixed with vodka? Can’t go wrong there for refreshing and low calorie.
