Pizza is a staple in America diets and everyone has there favorites when it comes to toppings, but the crust is just as if not more important in the pizza hitting it out of the park or not. I actually prefer a thinner, less doughy and less greasy crust and if you are like me than you will love this recipe. It makes 2 crusts, so go crazy with all the toppings you want after preparing and you can even double the recipe and freeze for quick and easy access next time you want to do home made pizza.
Simple and easy Pizza Crust recipe
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 oz. instant yeast
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 cups warm water
Stir first 5 ingredients into large bowl.
add cooking oil and warm water and mix well. turn out onto floured surface and knew 30-40 times until smooth and elastic.
Grease 2, 12″ pizza pans, dividing dough in half, roll and stretch to fit pans
Bake in a 425 F preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove and add all your favorite toppings. Bake in 425 F oven again for another 8-10 minutes.
